Contract Administrator – Multi-Residential | Circa $140K - $150K + super
Location: South Melbourne Office (projects across Metro Melbourne)

About the Opportunity
Our client is a Melbourne-based construction group specialising in multi-residential apartments, with additional expertise in aged care and hotels. They deliver quality projects that prioritise sustainability and community impact. With a healthy pipeline and supportive leadership, they are growing their delivery team.

The Role
We’re seeking an intermediate Contract Administrator on behalf of our client to manage end-to-end commercial functions on apartment projects (typical duration 15–24 months). This role is ideal for candidates who value integrity, consistency, and seeing projects through from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Administer head contracts and subcontracts from procurement to close-out.

Prepare scopes, RFQs, tender comparisons, and subcontract agreements.

Evaluate, negotiate and award packages; maintain subcontractor relationships.

Process and track progress claims, variations and EOTs; manage contemporaneous records.

Manage project cost control: budgeting, forecasting, cost-to-complete and cashflow (Cheops).

Collaborate closely with project/site teams and consultants to manage commercial risk.

Contribute to monthly reporting and commercial meetings.

Skills & Experience

3–6+ years’ Contract Administration experience (apartments preferred; aged care/hotels considered).

Proven end-to-end project involvement on builds >$10m; exposure to $30m+ advantageous.

Strong understanding of contracts, legislation and commercial risk.

Proficiency with Cheops (or similar) and readiness to adopt Procore.

Strong communication, stakeholder management and attention to detail.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, QS or similar.
