Programmed are currently partnered with one of the worlds largest agricultural organizations who are committed to feeding the world in a safe & responsible way. Currently, they’re looking for a leading hand to join the crew on-site to lead the team through the harvest season and beyond.

In this role you will lead the team on-site and execute the sites daily and weekly priorities. You will ensure that the team are trained well to perform duties across all areas of the operation including harvest receivals, grain classifications, stack building, tarping, site hygiene, grain outturn and general bunker operations.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

· Executing routine operations to ensure company policies and procedures are met

· Monitoring production outcomes, quantity and quality ensuring that food safety requirements are upheld

· Executing operations within budget guidelines

· A high focus on customer service

· Developing & coaching casual staff on-site

We are looking for someone with:

· Experience in plant operations, implements and attachments, tractors, telehandlers, bulk material conveying and small plant and hand tools

· Experience with the grain industry/bulk material handling (highly regarded)

· Relevant tickets & qualifications (highly regarded)

· A sound knowledge of health and safety standards

· A hands on and practical approach

· Ability to pass a national police clearance/pre-employment medical

· A valid drivers license

This role offers a great base salary of $75,000 - $90,000, a performance incentive bonus as well as other benefits that come from working in partnership with Aussie growers and a global business. This role also offers accommodation / relocation assistance for the right candidate.
