About the Role:
- Daily maintenance of fleet administration database
- Work schedules and orders provided on time
- Provide administration support to the fleet team
- Carry out procurement activities to support fleet operations
- Vehicle insurance claim management
- Assist with preparation of tenders for plant and vehicles
- Carry out annual audits of all Council and RFS plant
- Maintain and monitor plant replacement program
- Maintain and monitor Councils internal hire rate system
- Store issuing, returns and processing for minor plant
- Promote information sharing and knowledge transfer to drive evidence-based decision-making, enhance capability and optimise capacity
- Contribute to the performance of Council: demonstrate professional conduct, make the best use of knowledge, experience and skills and be accountable for own decisions and actions
- Contribute to a safe workplace: comply with legislative and organisational requirements and be accountable for own decisions and actions
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Certificate III qualification or above, in Business Administration, or a related discipline with demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar role; or substantial contemporary experience in a similar role to support contemporary knowledge
2. Demonstrated ability to effectively maintain databases
3. Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office suite
4. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats
5. Demonstrated ability to purchase goods and services while maintaining budget compliance
6. Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve outcomes that contribute to the achievement of the organisation’s strategic goals
7. Current Class C drivers Licence
Desirable criteria:
1. High Risk Work Licence (forklift)
2. General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
3. Demonstrated experience in the motor trade
4. Demonstrated understanding of asset inspection, maintenance and control
