Mars Recruitment are partnered with a global investment manager to recruit a Compliance professional to join their Sydney team. This is an exciting opportunity for a compliance professional to work closely with senior colleagues across multiple regions, develop and maintain policies, and ensure regulatory obligations are met. The role offers exposure to global compliance frameworks and the chance to drive a risk-aware culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Support senior Compliance professionals in Sydney, London, and New York.

Develop, maintain, and implement risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Act as a subject matter expert on AFSL obligations and ensure ongoing compliance.

Assist in maintaining global AML/CFT policies, manage KYC requests, and support client onboarding processes.

Conduct compliance monitoring, control testing, and reporting activities.

Deliver training and guidance to employees on regulatory and internal compliance matters.

Monitor and report on Reportable Events, recommending remedial actions where required.

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and regulators.

• Exposure in both private and listed infrastructure investments.

Key Requirements:

Experience in compliance, risk management, or financial services.

Knowledge of AFSL obligations and regulatory frameworks.

AML/CFT and KYC experience preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
