As the business continues to grow, it is seeking a seasoned Group Compliance Manager to lead its compliance and privacy programs across the region.
Your new role
As the Group Compliance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and driving a culture of integrity and compliance across the ANZ operations. Reporting to the APAC Compliance Director, you'll act as a strategic advisor and business partner, ensuring that all practices align with internal policies and external regulations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Compliance Program Leadership: Oversee the implementation and governance of the group's compliance framework, covering anti-bribery, healthcare compliance, AML, sanctions, spam, modern slavery, whistleblowing, and workplace surveillance.
- Training & Communication: Design and deliver engaging compliance training and awareness programs tailored to local teams and leaders.
- Privacy Officer Duties: Lead the deployment of the data protection program, manage breach responses, and coordinate with Legal, IT, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
- Investigations: Conduct internal investigations, manage whistleblower alerts, and report findings to senior leadership.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with regional and global teams to influence business decisions and ensure compliant growth.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in a related field
- Solid experience in audit and/or compliance, ideally with privacy-related responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of the Privacy Act (Australia and/or New Zealand), spam legislation, and key regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, pragmatic mindset with the ability to work autonomously and influence at all levels.
- Experience in Sales, Marketing, or retail is a bonus, but not essential.
