MARS is partnering with a growing organisation in the property sector, that's seeking a Finance Manager on a 12-month contract to lead financial management, reporting, and compliance across a multi-entity group. With a sizeable portfolio and strong growth ahead, this role offers the chance to combine technical expertise with commercial influence in a dynamic environment.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management, while providing commercial insights to support operational decision-making. You'll oversee statutory compliance, partner with operational managers, and lead a small finance team, making this a broad and impactful leadership opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead group financial and management reporting across several entities.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, providing insights to support growth.
• Oversee statutory compliance including BAS, GST, PAYG, and audit processes.
• Partner with operations and community managers to drive performance.
• Implement system and process improvements across finance and reporting tools.
• Mentor and develop a small, high-performing finance team.

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified with proven experience in senior finance roles within a commercial environment.
• Strong technical accounting skills across consolidations, statutory reporting, and compliance.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate numbers into business insights.
• Experience leading teams in multi-entity, property or related sectors highly regarded.
• Hands-on, proactive, with excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
