Job Title: Compliance Officer (12-Month Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Leave Cover)
Location: Chatswood, Sydney (3 days in office / 2 days WFH)

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join a dynamic and supportive team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role offers exposure to a broad range of compliance responsibilities within the general insurance sector, providing an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and career.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical compliance advice across a variety of operational matters.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing and approving documentation including product disclosure statements, policy terms, websites, advertising, and promotional material.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support business teams in adapting to change.
• Maintain and report on breach and incident registers, including remediation activities.
• Support the delivery of commercially viable and compliant outcomes for the business and its customers.

About You

• Minimum 1 year experience in a compliance role, ideally within general insurance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory obligations within the financial services sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to also work independently.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
