About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Oral Health Therapist to join our established Hygiene/Therapy department. This part-time role is available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9AM- 5.30PM (with a 1-hour lunch break). You’ll be working closely alongside one of our four dentists, as well as another Oral Health Therapist, within a supportive and collaborative team culture.
We would ideally like you to start late October.
Your Responsibilities
Build lasting relationships with patients, offering support and education
Deliver excellent clinical care in both hygiene and therapy procedures
Work hard to exceed patient expectations
Perform dental hygiene treatments, including comprehensive periodontal care, digital x-rays, and impressions
Use EMS Airflow for thorough cleaning
Provide in-chair ZOOM whitening and take-home whitening kits (training provided)
Treat children with therapy services (e.g., exams, fissure sealants, x-rays, fillings, extractions)
Educate and support patients in oral health care
Support the dentist and assist the wider dental team as needed
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience in a general private dental practice
Current AHPRA registration, Working With Children Check, and Radiation Licence (including OPG)
Confident in all general hygiene and therapy procedures
A caring, patient-centred attitude with strong communication skills
A team player who is dependable, adaptable, and eager to learn
Experience with Oasis Dental software and Zoom Whitening will be highly regarded
