The Role & The Team:
As the Records Officer you will work with the Enabling Technology Platforms team to support and implement the work program being initiated by the Content Manager Team Leader in a professional and effective manner using considerable skills and experience.
- Records Management Support: Maintain corporate records and filing systems (both hard copy and electronic) in compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
- System Administration & User Support: Administer content management systems (e.g., Content Manager, Orbit, Library system) and provide specialist advice, training, and second-level Help Desk support.
- Quality Assurance & Audits: Participate in records audits, spot checks, and the Records Management Maintenance Program to ensure data integrity.
- Policy & Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems for consistent and improved records management services.
- Project & Archival Activities: Support archival functions, manage subscriptions, assist with digitisation, sentencing, disposal projects, and contribute to monthly reporting.

The Person:
To be considered for this role you will have a proficient level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build and maintain professional working relationships.
The successful candidate will have:
- Sound knowledge of records management principles, practices, and standards.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Content Manager and/or other EDRM systems.
- Proven computer literacy and keyboard skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised, to prioritise tasks, manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- Qualifications within the discipline field highly regarded.
