If you thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment, and want to contribute to a growing national team making real impact, we want to hear from you.

About the role

We’re seeking a Communications & Operations Support Officer to join our growing team.

This full-time role can be based anywhere in Australia and plays a key part in coordinating communications, events, stakeholder engagement, and business operations that support projects across the country.

It’s a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same – giving you the chance to make a real impact while working closely with a dedicated, high-performing national team.

What you’ll be doing
• Coordinate and deliver end-to-end events and webinars, including logistics, registrations, suppliers, budgets, and reporting.
• Develop and publish engaging communications and digital content across email, LinkedIn, websites, and microsites.
• Manage stakeholder enquiries, ensuring timely, accurate responses and audit-ready records.
• Provide project and governance support, including planning, minutes, registers, and committee coordination.
• Support the coordination of contractors and state-based activities, ensuring clarity and alignment with project outcomes.
• Maintain processes, compliance, and quality standards, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in events/webinar coordination and digital communications.
• Experience using CRM/case management tools and producing basic dashboards/reports.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Planner, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with high degree of accuracy and ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and contribute across a variety of tasks.
• A proactive, collaborative approach, taking ownership of tasks while working as part of a team.

Desirable
• Knowledge of the VET sector, training packages, or committee/governance processes.
• Experience with CRM systems (preferably Zoho).
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive engagement practices.
