What’s the Story?

As a Library Support Officer, you’ll be the welcoming face of our library branches. You’ll:

• Help customers find their next great read or navigate our digital resources.
• Support programs like Giggle and Wiggle and Sensory Story Time – yes, singing and dancing may be involved!
• Keep our spaces safe, tidy, and inviting.
• Share ideas and contribute to how we deliver services and improve operations.

Libraries ACT operates seven days a week, and this role will involve shift work, including weekends, across the public library network.

This position does require a pre-employment medical.

Notes: There is no current position available, a Merit Pool will be established from this selection process to fill temporary and permanent vacancies over the next 12 months which may be part time and full time. If part- time hours are considered, the salary noted above will be paid pro-rata.
