Description

• Manage high-volume transactional purchasing activities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilise Pronto ERP to process and track procurement operations.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
• Source and evaluate suppliers to secure quality products at competitive prices.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement data.
• Coordinate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and manage stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during all purchasing activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.

Profile

A successful Purchasing Officer should have:

• Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role within the gold mining industry (essential).
• Strong hands-on experience with Pronto ERP software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume transactional purchasing effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for supplier liaison and internal collaboration.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and best practices in the energy and natural resources industry.
