Start date, Monday 12 January 2026
37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday each week – 8.00am to 4.00pm per day
42 weeks per year
The Opportunity
Kildare College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Resource Centre Coordinator to join our team. The Resource Centre Coordinator plays a vital role in developing a Resource Centre that is welcoming and well-resourced to support student learning and staff teaching. This role fosters a culture of inquiry and reading, providing access to information both within and beyond the physical space of the Centre.
Key responsibilities
Support student learning while maintaining a welcoming, engaging, and productive space that encourages independent and collaborative learning.
Promote literacy, in particular reading through initiatives and access to a diverse and appropriate collection.
Support teacher pedagogy and curriculum planning.
Management of the Resource Centre.

Qualifications and Training:
Screening clearance and current valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) to work in Catholic Education SA.
Current valid Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC).
Current and accepted HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting.
Certificate IV in Library and Information Services and/or relevant demonstrated equivalent competencies and/or experience in a comparable role is desired but not essential.
