Accounts Officer - Construction | Gold Coast

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + Super

We are partnering with a well-established construction business on the Gold Coast to recruit a confident and detail-oriented Accounts Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team environment while working with one of the region's most reputable companies in the sector.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across accounts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and proven experience working with Jobpac.

Key Responsibilities:

Full function Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Bank and credit card reconciliations

Assisting with month-end processing and reporting

Liaising with project managers and site teams on financial queries

Maintaining accurate records and supporting audit requirements

Contributing to process improvements and system efficiencies

About You

Previous experience as an Accounts Officer (construction industry experience essential)

Confident user of Jobpac software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
