About the role

Karnet Prison Farm focuses on preparing prisoners for successful re-entry into the community when they are released, giving them job skills linked to industry and farming practices.

The role specific responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Coordinating and directing the day to day operations of recreation services including preparing, planning and scheduling daily work activities for prisoners.

Implementing and coordinating a mix of passive, individual and recreational programs and activities that address the needs and interests of the whole prisoner cohort.

Instructing prisoners in sport fitness safety and the safe use of sport and recreational equipment
