About the role

The Technology Branch within the Knowledge and Information Technology Directorate (KIT) plays a key role in managing the Department’s information assets. The branch is responsible for setting business rules and governance frameworks to ensure that technological solutions are complementary, and provide information that is reliable, adequately described, secured and readily available to inform decisions.

The Project Officer and Senior Project Officer roles are responsible for supporting and managing key projects within KIT to implement business and technology solutions, utilising project management methodologies and governance frameworks, to ensure successful delivery within agreed scope, time and budget. This is an exciting time to be joining the Department of Justice with a number of high-profile projects in flight and future transformational projects planned across KIT.
