The Miro & Atrio Apartments, located in the Heart of the Fortitude Valley, comprising of over 60 1 & 2 Bedroom Apartments, with an outstanding location and unique attributes are currently seeking professional, motivated housekeeping team members to join our New Internal Housekeeping Team.

Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manger you will be responsible for:

Room Attendant, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

Servicing and cleaning allocated apartments

Ability to work alone or as part of a two-person team

Maintaining our high cleanliness standards

Stocking and maintaining the housekeeping trolleys

Handling all amenities, chemicals and equipment according to specific instructions and OH&S standards and undertaking special cleaning projects as directed.

Report all maintenance and repair requirements and missing items

Follow lost property procedures

Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Public Area Cleaner/Houseperson, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

Vacuuming common area carpets, mopping, cleaning/dusting furniture and fixtures

Keeping Reception, walkways, gardens areas and other public spaces clean and ensuring all spaces are hygienic, and welcoming

Organizing and restocking linen into housekeeping storage areas

Assisting with room attendant with tasks, including setting up and moving linen trolleys, taking linen into apartments for the housekeeping team, moving furniture/equipment, setting up guest's requests such as rollaway beds, porta cots

Reporting maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.

Working closely with housekeeping, maintenance & front office team to keep operations running smoothly.
