About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer – HCP to join our dynamic team at OSAN Ability in Broadmeadows, Victoria. This is a full-time position where you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our Home Care Packages (HCP) services, supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities in our local community.

You will be responsible for building strong referral networks, generating leads, and ensuring that new clients experience a smooth transition into our services.

What You’ll Be Doing

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for our HCP services.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources including ACAT teams, GPs, hospitals, and community organisations.

Promoting HCP services and educating potential clients and their families on program benefits.

Assisting with marketing and communication strategies to raise brand awareness.

Representing OSAN Ability at expos, networking events, and community activities.

Conducting initial consultations with prospective clients and converting leads into active clients.

Collaborating with the wider OSAN Ability team to ensure a seamless and high-quality client onboarding experience.

Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Providing regular reports and insights on business development activities and outcomes.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for a results-driven individual who can combine strategic thinking with genuine care for clients.

Proven experience in business development, intake, or client engagement (aged care/disability sector preferred).

Knowledge of Home Care Packages (HCP) and/or NDIS Quality Standards.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and proactively meet KPIs.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Experience with CRM or care management systems (desirable).

Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, or social services (highly regarded).

Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the local area.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain referral networks with LACs, Support Coordinators, GPs, hospitals, and allied health professionals.

Identify and develop new opportunities to grow OSAN Ability’s Victorian portfolio.

Conduct client consultations and guide families through the onboarding process.

Achieve and exceed onboarding KPIs through proactive engagement and lead conversion.

Support long-term client retention by ensuring positive experiences during settlement.
