Operations & Business Development Manager – Traffic Management (Perth)

Southern Cross Pacific, part of the Southern Cross Group, is expanding into Western Australia. We’re seeking a practical, hands-on Operations & Business Development Manager to oversee our Perth operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on site, working closely with crews, ensuring compliance, and building client relationships while helping us secure new contracts.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

Bringing potential clients

Training and upskilling new and existing traffic controllers.

Conducting site visits to supervise staff and check compliance with safety and client requirements.

Working directly with clients to maintain strong relationships and resolve issues.

Driving new business growth, quoting, and following up with clients.

Supporting the successful rollout of Southern Cross Pacific in WA.

(Rostering and recruitment will be managed by our operations support team, so you can focus on staff performance, quality, and client growth.)

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in traffic management or related operations.

Skilled at training, coaching, and supervising field staff.

Confident in meeting clients, preparing quotes, and winning business.

Organized, proactive, and able to work independently.

Knowledgeable in WA road authority standards.
