Retail & Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced leader to oversee both the retail and warehouse operations of our newest KickAss Store in Perth. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a store and warehouse operation, driving sales growth while ensuring smooth, efficient logistics.

You’ll be responsible for leading and developing a motivated sales and warehouse team, building a high-performing customer service culture, and ensuring operational excellence across retail, fulfillment, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Leadership
• Lead, coach, and motivate the retail sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience by fostering a service-focused culture.
• Manage store presentation, merchandising, promotions, and daily administration (rostering, banking, stock control, security, cleanliness).
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members in sales and customer service.

Warehouse & Operations
• Set up, manage, and scale warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch.
• Oversee receiving, stock transfers, click-and-collect orders, and customer pickups.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) and ensure goods are packed, labelled, and shipped accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment.
• Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff in KickAss procedures.

Cross-Functional Leadership
• Work with both sales and operations teams to align customer experience with efficient fulfillment.
• Monitor and report on sales, stock, and operational KPIs.
• Encourage and drive a fun, positive, and collaborative work environment across all departments.

About You
• Proven experience managing in retail and/or warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Track record of achieving sales and operational targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing both people and processes.
• Physically capable of handling warehouse duties when needed.
• Forklift licence and WMS/inventory software knowledge an advantage.
• Passionate about power, camping, 4WD and the outdoors.
