About the company/role:

• Our client, a global leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry based in the Northern suburbs
• They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract basis with potential to extend
• Monday – Friday, standard working hours
• Immediate start

Duties:

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee external construction and contractor teams to manage trades and permits onsite
• Support smaller scale projects on manufacturing site
• Provide assistance for maintaining the configuration management system during project activities
• Produce specifications, drawings and other documentation that comprises the technical requirements for inclusion in tenders and contracts as part of a cross functional group.
• Report any deviations identified during commissioning and qualification back to Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager.
• Raise and administer purchase orders for supply of goods and services.

To be successful for the role, the ideal candidates will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science
• 3 years' experience in a similar project engineer role within a regulated industry
• Experience within a GMP environment is highly regarded
• Experience in troubleshooting, process engineering and ability to understand and implement client requirements
• Ability to interpret instructions and run with requirements
• Self-motivated and being a quick learner
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
