Are you ready to shape the future of stormwater infrastructure across Victoria? This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned construction professional to play a pivotal role in the delivery of critical environmental assets that protect communities and enhance natural ecosystems.

As a Senior Construction Engineer, you'll be the technical authority on-site, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful delivery of stormwater treatment and flood prevention infrastructure. From wetlands and waterways to retarding basins and pipelines, you'll oversee construction projects that align with rigorous engineering and environmental standards.

Your new role
As a Senior Construction Engineer, you'll collaborate with project engineers, land development consultants, contractors, and private landowners to ensure every asset meets expectations for quality, safety, and sustainability.

• Conduct site inspections across the region, making real-time engineering and vegetation decisions.
  
• Resolve field-based issues in collaboration with project and construction engineers
  
• Review and assess Site Environmental Management Plans (SEMPs) submitted by developers.
  
• Contribute to project management activities including cost assessments, variations, and financial planning
  

What you'll need to succeed
You're a confident decision-maker with a strong technical foundation and a passion for environmental engineering. You thrive in dynamic site environments and bring a collaborative spirit to every project.

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in environmental, geotechnical, vegetation, or civil engineering projects.
• Background in land development, ideally with government or site-based roles.
  
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and guiding teams through complex site challenges.
