About the Role:
This role is your opportunity to combine your passion for managing a client portfolio with your love of mentoring and developing junior level bookkeepers. Own your role and directly assist this accounting firm to achieve their goals. In this role you will:

• Manage two bookkeepers
• Delegate, oversee and review of monthly bookkeeping, activity statements, payroll tax
• Identify any opportunity for system and process improvement
• Undertake monthly reporting for clients
• Undertake accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Reconcile accounts
• Calculate and process payroll for clients
• Produce monthly and quarterly activity statements
• Action property development and utilisation requests

Skills and Experience:
You will be an experienced Bookkeeper who ideally has been working in the public practice accounting sector for at least 5 years. Additionally, you will have the following:

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping as a minimum qualification
• Experience using Xero software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proven ability to effectively manage and mentor a small team
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients
• Ability to work with a small tight knit team
