We’re Hopscotch Digital, a fast-growing digital agency based on the Gold Coast. We work with clients across multiple industries (with a strong footprint in childcare and tourism). Our small but talented team of 8 thrives on creativity, strategy, and delivering meaningful results for our clients.
We’re now looking for a Creative & Digital Manager to step into a pivotal role. This is an opportunity to become the right-hand of the agency, a trusted partner who can lead client strategy, oversee creative output, and drive digital marketing performance.
The Role
As Creative & Digital Manager, you’ll wear a few hats: strategist, creative lead, digital marketer, and client partner. You’ll be trusted to:
Client Leadership
Build and maintain strong client relationships, with transparency and trust at the core.
Provide proactive strategy and reporting, breaking down complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
Be the go-to for client communications.
Creative Direction
Oversee the quality of creative output across design, advertising collateral, and client deliverables.
Ensure creative work meets best-practice design principles (hierarchy, messaging clarity, brand consistency).
Step in when needed to produce creative assets (ads, social, design collateral).
Digital Strategy & Execution
Work with the digital team to manage and maintain ads across Google and Meta.
Drive website optimisation, from UX testing and SEO fundamentals to rolling out landing pages.
Stay across analytics and tracking (GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, UX tools).
Proactively identify performance risks and act before they become problems.
Reporting & Insights
Work with the digital team to deliver monthly reporting with actionable recommendations.
Translate data into stories clients understand, and strategies they believe in.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
A hybrid thinker; equally comfortable with creative direction, digital strategy, and client communications.
Experienced in managing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and SEO fundamentals.
Hands-on with website platforms (WordPress essential; Elementor/WPBakery a bonus).
Skilled in reporting and data interpretation, with a knack for simplifying complex metrics.
Strong in design fundamentals, with the ability to direct and review creative.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Bonus points if you have experience in the childcare sector, it’s not required, but it’s a big part of our client base.
