NOTE: Preferably Newcastle based, to work in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

General repairs and maintenance across selected schools and residential/small commercial properties

Painting, patching, and basic carpentry

Lawn mowing, garden tidy-up, and exterior clean-ups as needed

Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner

Complete scheduled jobs independently (and in a team) on time

Work across different sites as needed

About You:

Proven handyman/maintenance experience minimum 5 years

Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently

Friendly and positive can-do attitude

A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Physical ability to perform manual tasks

Flexible and adaptable

Skilled in performing a broad range of handyman tasks with competence and depth of expertise.

Excellent time manager

Essential:

Flexibility in work hours

Demonstrated organisational skills

Excellent interpersonal, communication

Drivers Licence

Working with Children check

Police check or willingness to obtain one

Desirable

First aid certificate

Trade or TAFE certifications
