About the role:
This role supports a major reform to simplify and harmonise veterans' compensation and rehabilitation, delivering communications and education as part of the change program.
Key responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and delivery of communication strategies and content across multiple channels
Support change initiatives with clear, timely, and audience-appropriate messaging
Draft briefs, talking points, fact sheets, newsletters, website content, and ministerial correspondence
Maintain effective stakeholder relationships to understand needs and shape communication approaches
Manage reform-related web pages and internal SharePoint content
About you:
Demonstrated experience delivering communication strategies in a government environment
Strong written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical or legislative content
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and tailoring messages for diverse audiences
Flexible team player with initiative, resilience, and ability to deliver under pressure
Understanding of communication planning, evaluation and change management principle
