Our client is a highly respected government department committed to delivering outstanding services across New South Wales. They play a vital role in supporting communities and individuals throughout the state.

They are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Digital Content Officer with strong website content skills and hands-on Drupal experience to join their project team. This is a contract role through to 7 November 2025, offering flexible hybrid work arrangements based out of Parramatta.


The Job...
Reporting into the Content Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, customer-focused digital content for key websites
  • Publish content in line with accessibility standards and brand guidelines
  • Manage content using Drupal to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Provide expert advice on UX, SEO, information architecture, analytics, accessibility, and web standards
  • Monitor and analyse website performance to improve engagement and meet objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on website consolidation, migrations, updates, and digital projects
  • Advise on best practice digital content governance


You...
To be successful for this Content Officer contract, you must have experience with the following:

  • Experienced content officer (2+ years) with familiarity in content strategy
  • Proven experience with Drupal Content Management System (essential)
  • Strong content design skills, with a user-centred approach
  • Solid understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
  • Previous NSW Government experience will be favoured
