HOBAN Recruitment is seeking experienced and motivated APS5 and APS6 level Project Officers to join a dynamic government agency team based in Newcastle, NSW. You'll be working in a collaborative environment, supporting or leading project planning, stakeholder engagement, and strategic consultation activities. The APS5 role focuses on consultation and coordination, while the APS6 role involves more complex project leadership and strategic planning responsibilities.

About You

APS5 Project Officer - Consultation

• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Experience supporting stakeholder engagement and consultation activities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Comfortable working under direction in a fast-paced environment

APS6 Project Officer - Strategy Team

• Proven experience in project planning and delivery
• Ability to lead and manage complex work with limited supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and strategic communication
• Background in government or public sector highly desirable
