The Role:

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a passionate Chef Manager at one of our key aged care sites in Warnervale, a lovely town in the Central Coast, NSW.

Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen without working weekends.

Roster: 9am till 5.30pm

Salary: Circa $83,000 plus superannuation

What This Role Involves:

• Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
• Ongoing Seasonal Menu Development & Refinement
• Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
• Preparing and presenting texture modified meals.
• Bulk cooking experience required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Experience with managing food & operational costs
• Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
• Strong communication skills
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
