The House Services Officers are responsible to the Senior House Services Officer for providing a range of operational and administrative services which contributes to the effective operation of the Office of the Serjeant-at-Arms in the House of Assembly.

This includes logistical and operational support to the Chamber of the House of Assembly and its parliamentary committees.

The role undertakes Centre Hall reception duties and supports the security and visitor services, as well as undertaking preparatory work in response to queries, and preparing written and oral responses to queries.

House Services Officers conduct public and specialised tours of Parliament House and support general precinct management.

This exciting opportunity is available for approximately 12 months, through to 9th October 2026.
