This is a permanent part-time position, 32 hours a week. You must be able to work every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7.50am - 5.50pm and every Thursday afternoon from 1.00pm - 6.00pm. This is not a casual position.

About you:

You will need to be:

honest, reliable and friendly with strong attention to detail skills

highly motivated and a strong team player

an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

willing to develop additional skills to excel in this role.

Dental Assisting experience is not essential, however completion of Year 12 education is preferred. Training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

A current Working With Children Check number will be required before employment commences. You will also be required to participate in the Bankstown Orthodontics immunisation program.

About the role:

You will be assisting the orthodontist for 3.5 days a week. Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

preparing the treatment room

greeting patients

chair-side assisting

infection control, including sterilising instruments

managing patient records

general administrative tasks.
