What you'll be doing
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clinicians and student clinicians to provide safe, high-quality oral healthcare. Your work ensures smooth clinical operations and an excellent patient experience.

Prepare instruments, equipment, and materials for dental procedures

Assist with chairside support, moisture control, and patient comfort

Maintain strict infection control and sterilisation standards

Manage patient records and digital systems accurately

Support radiography processes and administrative tasks

Essential Requirements:

Qualification: Certificate III in Dental Assisting or recognised equivalent/current enrolment in the course

Selection Criteria:

Certificate III in Dental Assisting or recognised equivalent or experience and willingness to undertake and successfully

Recent experience as a Dental Assistant.

Demonstrated ability to perform effective infection control procedures in all aspects of Dental Assisting.

Demonstrated proficiency and accuracy in dental charting with good computer skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to liaise with a wide range of individuals.

Demonstrated understanding of work health safety requirements

Excellent organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
