About the role

Expert Dental Care is seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist and Dental Assistant to join our team in Casula, NSW. This is a casual role that will involve providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our dental clinic.

Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and professional manner

Managing patient appointments and maintaining the clinic schedule

Handling patient enquiries and booking appointments over the phone

Preparing treatment rooms and assisting dentists during procedures

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic files

Processing payments and handling financial transactions

Ordering and restocking dental supplies as needed

Ensuring the clinic is kept clean, organised and well-presented at all times

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a dental receptionist or dental assistant, preferably in a fast-paced dental practice

Minimum of 1 year of dental receptionist or dental assistant experience is required.

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, dentists and colleagues

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and patient information

Proficiency in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications

A friendly, positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
