Bathurst Specialist Centre is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team . As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative and customer service support to our busy medical practice, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key responsibilities

Welcoming and greeting patients, both in-person and on the phone, with a friendly and professional manner.

Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling inquiries and bookings

Assisting with billing, invoicing, and other financial tasks as needed

Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient information

Providing general administrative support to the healthcare team as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service or administrative role within the healthcare industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues in a warm and professional manner

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)

Demonstrated commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of professionalism
