Medical Receptionist Casual/Part-Time

We are looking for a casual/part-time medical receptionist to join a boutique professional team of medical specialist practice (immunology & allergy services). Our practice is located in Belrose overlooking a beautiful national park view, and we have a lovely team of doctors and reception staff.

We are located 10 minutes drive north of Northern Beaches Hospital in Frenchs Forest and about 5-7 minutes walk to Belrose Super Centre. The position is to work on Wednesday and Thursday, and possibly an additional day if required from time to time. It could increase to 3 days a week from next year but that depends on the overall staffing situation. Our ideal candidate is expected to thrive in fast paced environment and have excellent communication skills with colleagues and patients, and being able to prioritise tasks efficiently. Fluent computer skills are a must.

Duties and responsibilities

Welcoming patients and visitors

Managing incoming phone calls

Scheduling appointments

Scanning and filing records and results

Invoicing and receipting

Banking Report

Other general administrative duties and clinic maintenance as required

Training will be provided. The position requires exceptional computer skills, customer service skills and attention to detail to provide high quality service in a timely manner. Immediate start.
