About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Kookora Surgery in Griffith, NSW. This is a casual position, providing you with flexibility to balance your work and personal life.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service to patients, both in person and on the phone

Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient flow of patients through the practice

Handling patient enquiries and providing information about the practice's services

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical files

Assisting with the administrative tasks required to support the smooth running of the medical practice

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient appointment scheduling

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and general office applications

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Prior experience with Accounts and daily banking
