Part-Time | Permanent Role

The Role

Join our Aquatics Team as a Permanent, Part-Time Lifeguard! Shifts are available at the South Hedland Aquatic Centre and Gratwick Aquatic Centre.

The responsibilities of the Lifeguard include:

  • Providing safe and effective supervision of the swimming pools and aquatic features
  • Delivering a high level of customer service and professionalism
  • Providing emergency response and first aid
  • Maintaining the facility in a safe, clean, hygienic and presentable condition for all customers to enjoy

This is a flexible role, with early morning, midday, evening, and weekend shifts are required.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • Current RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard accreditation
  • Current First Aid qualification
  • Current CPR certification including use of oxygen and defibrillator
  • Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Rights to work in Australia
