An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced HR Manager to partner with senior leaders, supporting employees while shaping culture, growth, and people initiatives.
About the Position
This is a true generalist HR role with a strong focus on recruitment. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures while managing the day-to-day HR operations.
Responsibilities:
- Driving HR strategy and aligning practices with business objectives;
- Overseeing recruitment and talent acquisition, from workforce planning through to onboarding;
- Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations and supporting managers with performance management;
- Ensuring compliance with Australian workplace laws and relevant employment legislation;
- Leading training and development initiatives to build workforce capability;
- Managing HR metrics and reporting to guide data-driven decision-making; and
- Shape the HR function while partnering closely with the leadership team.
About You
You are an experienced HR Manager with broad HR expertise, ideally gained within the construction or related industries.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and compliance requirements;
- The ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation;
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills; and
- A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to balance strategic input and operational delivery.
The Benefits
- Full-time permanent role salary $130,000 - $150,000 + Super;
