Nullarbor Holdings own and operate a portfolio of hospitality and retail venues across regional South Australia, the Northern Territory, and Queensland, employing over 80 staff across its remote sites.
We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee our HR operations and ensure company-wide compliance. This role is vital in supporting our expanding team and maintaining the safety and wellbeing of our remote workforce.
Reporting directly to the CEO and General Manager whilst working closely with onsite management teams, the Human Resources Manager will drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, strengthen workplace culture, and ensure full compliance with HR and Workplace Health & Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all HR & Compliance including end to end talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, workplace complaints and investigations
Expand on existing HR systems, monitor and maintain
Onboarding of employees and undertaking regular employee engagement
Management of employee contracts, policies, procedures and workplace employee documentation
Identify training requirements for onsite employees
Liaise with Site managers and keep sites updated on Human Resource requirements
Develop and monitor operational risk registers
Ensure regulatory compliance with managers and employees
Promote best practices in risk management and contribute to the organisation’s strategic goals.
Adhere to relevant legal standards, including WHS codes of practice and ISO frameworks.
Assist with companies administration and administration work for the CEO & General Manager.
Travel to the companies remote sites, sometimes Quarterly for 1-2 weeks at a time

What we’re looking for:
You’re a positive, compassionate and people orientated HR Professional with;
Proven experience in a senior HR management role, ideally within the hospitality industry
Ability to work collaboratively with Senior Management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
HR qualifications experience essential
Knowledge of Employment Hero or similar onboarding systems
Knowledge of Industrial relations
Experience with workplace health and safety and Psychosocial compliance
Ability to undertake remote travel when required
The successful candidate will receive a full handover and a smooth transition into the role with the guidance of our Support Management Team and our current HR Consultant. Commencement date is flexible based on current notice periods.
