The Role

While managing the day-to-day operational needs of your team and client, you will foster positive stakeholder relationships, surpass our client’s expectations, and ensure we add value to our client portfolio. A solid understanding of commercial cleaning operations in a hospital environment, including relationship building, budgeting and cost management, service delivery, and stakeholder management, is essential for success in this role.

This is a busy, hands-on role in a fast-paced 24-hour, seven-day-a-week hospital environment.

As the Site Manager, you will:

Be the first point of contact for our client

Lead the cleaning and linen teams

Assign duties, carry out spot checks, and ensure service standards are met

Provide coaching on cleaning methods, safety protocols, and site-specific requirements

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Oversee rosters and resource allocation to ensure optimal service delivery while managing labour costs

Manage your team, including recruitment, training and administrative tasks

Liaise with suppliers regarding orders

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and compliance measures, embedding a culture of safety and accountability at all levels

Coordinate periodic and additional works

Conduct routine site audits (cleaning inspections)

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will be suitably experienced and have:

Proven experience in a similar role

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

An eye for detail

Ability to build relationships and rapport quickly

Strong organisational and administration skills

Experience in the cleaning industry is essential

A National Criminal History check is required for this role
