Woods & Co are working with a high-growth FinTech company to find an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Queensland sales team. This role has opened due to continued national expansion and growing demand in the hospitality sector, particularly across pubs, clubs, and gaming venues.
You'll join a tight-knit and supportive QLD team backed by a reputable national business. With a leadership team that values autonomy, collaboration, and long-term success, you'll inherit a warm portfolio of clients while driving new business growth across the state. The culture is down-to-earth, social, and commercially savvy - whether you’re attending client lunches, trade shows, or presenting tailored solutions to CFOs, you’ll be backed by strong internal support and an environment that feels like your own business.
What’s in it for you?
- $80k - $100k base + Super + Car Allowance + Commission (OTE $160k)

- Regular access to client events, trade shows, and hospitality functions

- Offices currently based in Loganholme, with a brand new site in planning
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and grow a portfolio of hospitality clients across QLD
- Identify and convert new business opportunities (approx. 50/50 new vs existing)
- Build strategic, long-term commercial relationships across venues
- Attend trade shows, client events, and social functions
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, and executive teams nationally
- Use Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate records and drive performance
- Proactively contribute to sales strategy and territory planning
What You’ll Need
- 1-3+ years' experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Background in hospitality, gaming, payments, or venues is highly desirable
- Confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders - from venue managers to CFOs
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commercially strategic mindset
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and tech-savvy (CRM + MS Office)
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout QLD
- A personable, down-to-earth approach – comfortable in both boardrooms and pubs
