Help keep the City running smoothly.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the City’s finances are accurate, reliable, and well managed — so we can continue delivering great outcomes for our community.
Behind every park, library, or road project is a team making sure the numbers add up. As Finance Officer, you’ll make sure the City is paid correctly and on time, support debt recovery processes, and provide excellent service to our community and colleagues.
About the Role

  • Preparing debtor invoices, credit notes, refunds and receipting payments.
  • Managing debt collection and responding to customer enquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate debtor records, reconciliations and reports.
  • Administering direct debits, property lease charges, and credit card processing.
  • Supporting month-end, year-end and audit processes.
  • Jumping in to support Accounts Payable when needed.

About You
You’re someone who:

  • Has experience in finance, administration or customer service.
  • Understands accounts receivable or bookkeeping processes.
  • Brings accuracy, attention to detail and stays calm under pressure.
  • Works confidently with Excel and financial systems (TechOne and Authority experience highly regarded).
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and can adapt to busy periods.
