About the role:

• Daily Operations - Receipt, record, and reconcile transactions in general trust accounts, manage security deposit accounts including receipting, reconciliation, and reporting, liaise with tenants and property owners on accounting-related inquiries and enter, update, and maintain financial information.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable - Monitor accounts receivable, including issuing invoices, tracking overdue accounts, and following up on outstanding payments, oversee accounts payable processes by verifying, coding, and processing contractor, supplier, and owner invoices and process payment runs.
• Lease & Property Management Support - Assist with new lease setups, renewals, assignments, and rental reviews and support property managers by maintaining complete and accurate tenant and property files, including rent schedules, adjustments, and correspondence.
• Variable Outgoings Audit – Coordinate the preparation of end-of-financial-year outgoings audits, liaise with external auditors to provide documentation, reconciliations, and responses to queries, prepare tenant statements and invoices in line with audit results and communicate with tenants regarding audit outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting desirable but not essential.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Experience in property or alternatively a keen interest in property.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Respectful of confidential information.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
