Carpet Call, Australia’s largest flooring retailer has been established for over 50 years and successfully runs a network of retail & franchise stores in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, along with a national builders’ division catering to some of the largest home builders in Australia. Due to expansion of our team, we are currently looking for a passionate full time Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team and be based in our office/warehouse complex in Balcatta. You will report directly to the State Accountant WA.

What you'll be doing

Data Entries - Bank transactions/ Invoices/ Stock etc.

Assisting Accounting month end reconciliations

Assisting Accounts Receivable

Assisting Accounts Payable

Assisting Rug Administration

Stock Take - be part of the team to preform monthly half day stock take at Balcatta warehouse

Building Relationship - Foster positive relationships with customers and other departments to facilitate a smooth payment process

Other ac hoc tasks as requested

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounts receivable or similar accounting role, preferably within the building or customer service industry

Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent

Intermediate Excel skills

Strong communicator with ability to build relationships across the organisation.

Work with common sense; High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to priorities and work through multiple tasks

Proactive and "can-do" attitude

Willingness to learn & to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
