We are looking for Disabilities Residential Care Officer who can work within a dynamic and high performing environment.

Key duties will include but not limited to:

Provide essential support and care to individuals residing in residential care facilities by ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents while promoting independence and dignity.

Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing according to their individual needs and preferences.

Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to residents, fostering a positive and supportive living environment.

Help residents with mobility issues to move around safely, utilizing mobility aids as necessary, and implementing fall prevention strategies.

Medication support ensuring correct dosages as prescribed, emergency medical first aid (including resuscitation), seizure response and invasive personal cares and health needs.

Monitor client progress, prepare detailed reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Collaborate with community groups, welfare organizations, and government agencies to address client needs and raise awareness of available resources.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with industry standards.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience working in community services or a similar field.

Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to residential care services.

Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to promoting the rights and well-being of individuals with disabilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
