Position Overview
We are seeking passionate and motivated staff to join our team as Social Workers and Residential Care Officers. Whether you are a qualified professional or a student/early career worker eager to learn, Bridges Care provides a supportive environment where you can develop your skills and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide case management, advocacy, and therapeutic support (Social Workers).
Deliver daily living assistance, supervision, and personal support (Residential Care Officers).
Support the development and implementation of individual care and behaviour support plans.
Promote residents’ independence, wellbeing, and community participation.
Build strong, respectful relationships with clients, families, and carers.
Work collaboratively with allied health professionals, support staff, and external agencies.
Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and compliance documentation.
Uphold NDIS Practice Standards, organisational policies, and the AASW Code of Ethics.
Assist in service growth by building networks, contacting other providers, and supporting referrals to attract new clients.
What We’re Looking For
Social Workers – Degree in Social Work (eligible for AASW membership) OR students who are enthusiastic, willing to learn, and motivated to support client growth.
Residential Care Officers / Students – Currently studying or recently graduated in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or a related field.
Passion for working with people with disability and/or mental health needs.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Resilience, empathy, and commitment to ongoing professional growth.
Flexibility to work across day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
Essential Requirements
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
National Police Check (within the last 6 months).
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Driver’s licence (optional)
