Among our services we provide short-term and medium accommodation to clients in a secured facility with highly qualified staff. We are looking for a full-time Residential Care Officer to join our team in NSW.
Responsibilities & Duties
The duties for this position include:
Providing high-quality support, skill development training and personal care to clients in our secured facilities.
Collaborating as part of a team to optimise clients' well-being through health care plans and stay updated on changes to care plans and needs.
Building strong relationships and ensuring client best interests are met.
Working closely and collaboratively with clients, their families, allied health professionals and care team to ascertain client requirements, provide feedback and accommodate changes to client mobility, needs and plans.
Assisting in the development of support plans to assist clients in achieving goals relating to individual support needs.
Monitoring/reviewing delivery of services as per care plans, ongoing supervision, assessing difficulties and reporting on progress and issues.
Liaising with support teams and other professionals as required.
Periodic review of support plans together with families, allied health professionals and care team; review progress, identify issues and update plans as required.
Working closely within a team setting to ensure smooth operations and safety of clients.
Maintain accurate and compliant records, complete shift handovers and comply with policies and procedures.
Salary
The salary for this position is $76,600 per annum plus superannuation.

Requirements for the Role
To be considered for this position, you should have:
At least a relevant diploma or higher qualification
1-2 years of relevant work experience in the disability industry
Current unrestricted driver's license.
Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (desirable).
Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear shift notes.
Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration and autonomy.
National Police Check (no older than 6 months).
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
