Role

As the House Manager - Disability Services (SIL) at Paramount Care, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of our disability support services. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to our clients in SIL settings. You will work closely with a dedicated team to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment that empowers our clients to live independently and achieve their goals.

About You

You’re an energetic, resilient leader with compassion, confidence and strong experience in disability support. You bring:

Previous leadership experience in SIL, residential, or group home settings.

Experience managing behaviours of concern & complex needs.

Knowledge of NDIS standards and ability to implement restrictive practices.

Excellent team management, rostering, and coaching skills.

Ability to balance participant needs with compliance and reporting.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the disability support services, including staff supervision, rostering and client care coordination

Coordinate and implement positive behavioral support strategies in line with behavior support plan (BSP) to manage complex behavioral and mental health needs

Develop and implement personalised support plans in collaboration with clients, their families and the wider care team

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and Paramount Care's policies and procedures

Manage a team of dedicated support workers, providing guidance, training and performance feedback

Foster a positive, client-focused culture that promotes the wellbeing and independence of our clients

Liaise with external stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals and government agencies, to coordinate seamless care

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our disability support services through feedback, innovation and best practice

What we're looking for

Certificate IV in Disability (minimum) or higher qualification in community services or a related field.

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar house manager or team leader role within the disability services sector

Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and disability support best practices

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families and stakeholders

Strong problem-solving, decision-making and time management skills

Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of support workers

Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting client independence

Current NDIS Workers Clearance, Police Check, Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
