An incredibly exciting role is now available at The Sienna Hunter Valley – the newest wedding venue and boutique hotel in The Hunter! This is a client facing role where experience in hospitality is a must. It is a fast paced, exciting and fun environment creating incredible and luxe weddings and events for our clients.
This role is a full-time management position that will require you to run the operation of delivery of our weddings, events and accommodation here at The Sienna. This will involve everything from start to finish for a successful event and guest experience. Your role includes creating and managing run sheets and food and beverage plans and managing the house keeping team for the hotel side of events as well as the food and beverage team.
Weekend work is absolute essential and some night work as well. You will work together with our Guest Services team which includes managers, house-keeping, and food and beverage staff.

You role will include but not be limited to:
Key roles –
Supervise and manage the daily operations of functions and events
Liaise with event coordinators, kitchen teams, and clients to ensure event requirements are met
Lead and train front-of-house staff, ensuring service excellence and professionalism
Set up function spaces in line with floorplans and event schedules
Oversee service during events, including food and beverage delivery and guest management
Troubleshoot and resolve any on-the-day event issues efficiently
Maintain venue standards in cleanliness, presentation, and safety
Housekeeping schedule’s and checks
About You:
Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within events, hospitality, or hotels
A strong leader with the ability to motivate and manage a team under pressure
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
RSA Certificate (essential)
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Skills and Experience :
Exceptional ability to build and maintain client relationships
Impeccable professionalism, organisation, and time management skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Polished personal presentation and grooming standards
