Venue Manager – Brell House (St Marys Diggers)
Opening Mid-October 2025
Be part of something new. Brell House is a contemporary bistro set to launch in St Marys Diggers this October, and we’re looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead the front-of-house team from day one.
About the Role
The Venue Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of Brell House’s FOH operations. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this hands-on role requires strong people leadership, proven hospitality expertise, and a genuine passion for creating an outstanding guest experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, training and inspiring the FOH team to deliver exceptional service.
Fostering a seamless partnership with our contracted caterers, Great Eats, to deliver premium food and beverage experiences.
Overseeing guest safety systems and managing incident reporting and resolution.
Ensuring venue presentation and the guest journey meet Brell House standards.
Providing proactive reporting to the Operations Manager on venue operations and performance.
Collaborating with Marketing and Events teams to activate the brand, engage the community and deliver memorable experiences.
Managing POS systems, stock controls, and limited cash handling.
Preparing and presenting professional performance reports.
About You
We’re seeking a dynamic leader with:
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing FOH operations in a busy hospitality venue.
Experience opening or relaunching a venue (highly desirable).
Demonstrated leadership in high-volume food & beverage environments.
Strong working knowledge of NSW hospitality regulations, WHS and food safety compliance.
Exceptional communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
